Impressive performance for Rallye 2 gloves

I've finally had my first crash of the year, but thankfully I wasn't riding my massive BMW R1200GS Adventure at the time I was racing mopeds at a local airfield!
But I was wearing my BMW Rallye 2 gloves. After the intial hot feeling when my hand (inevtiably) went down before anything else in a 20mph crash, I rolled to a stop and looked down, expecting my gloves (and possibly my fingers) to be shredded.
These are effectively luxury motocross gloves, after all. But the only damage is some light abrasion to the grippy, padded synthetic layer of material on the palm. My hand is fine, although the moped wasn't in a fit state to finish the race. For now, I can't rate these gloves highly enough.
