New Alpinestars Quark DNS winter glove

I'm still waiting for a manufacturer to produce a glove that is slim from the wrist up so that it fits some way up under the jacket sleeve and is long enough so as not to allow the water once it has reached the waterproof membrane of a textile jacket to run down into the glove. It's pointless saying a glove is waterproof when it has to fit over a sleeve because the water in the sleeve just runs down into it and no amount of zips, ties or Velcro on the outside will stop it. Just as well that when I buy a jacket or pair of gloves I make sure that sleeve fits over the glove even then you have just about an hour in heavy rain before it leaks in. Longer narrower sleeves please.
