I swear by my Shoei Multitec flip-front lid (from £333 at www.mcnshop.com) which I use for my on board camera action.

Those photographs you see in the paper that are taken over the rider's shoulder to show the road ahead ­could nto have been taken with a full-face helmet on!

This lid fits the bill when I'm out on an assignment as it doubles up as a full-face when I'm enduring the motorway slog to reach my destination.
