Staff bikes: Honda Hornet 600 - MCT suspension

James Keen, 21 January 2011 10:30

I don’t think I’m alone in being a little bit scared of suspension jargon. I’m in awe of the guys who can bounce a bike up and down and tell if it’s any good or not on feel alone. But despite not being able to describe the problem in technical terms, I’ve known for a while that my Hornet’s suspension ...

Oh, and a trip to the World Superbikes at Brands Hatch, plus a day of Advanced Rider training. The first event was the Hornet's Nest club's annual Swarm ...

New Hornet dyno tested

Chris Newbigging, 15 March 2007 16:26

Tests have revealed that the new Honda Hornetmakes 98bhp on an independent dyno – only two bhp shy of Honda’s claimed output. The bike uses a detuned version of the latest CBR600RR engine instead of the ancient CBR600F motor used in the old bike. In MCN’s test in January, the new CBR made 107bhp at the back wheel, only 9bhp up ...

CB600F Hornet reborn

Adam Child, 13 February 2007 15:09

They’ve almost scored a hat-trick. It can’t all be new?Yes ...
