Lidl reveals range of motorcycle clothing and accessories

Supermarket chain Lidl has unveiled a range of low-priced motorcycle clothing that it believes will appeal to bikers looking to get on the road without investing a huge amount in kit.

The range is due to launch on March 20 and comprises a two-piece his and hers cordura jacket priced at £59.99, matching trousers for £49.99, a men’s leather jacket costing £49.99, a £12.99 rain suit, a balaclava priced at £4.99, gloves costing £12.99, a long sleeved top priced at £12.99, and long johns for £8.99.

A flip-face open helmet is also due to be available, priced £39.99, with a full-face option coming in slightly cheaper at £34.99, and an open-faced helmet priced at £19.99. Each helmet meets the ECE-R 22.05 standard, which is a United Nations standard accepted in Europe.

Lidl plans to also sell a spine protector priced £16.99, a kidney belt for £2.99, a magnetic tank bag for £16.99, and a disc lock for £4.99.
