Alpinestars GP Pro leather jacket £429.99
Time used: One year
What’s good: This is a beautifully made and comfortable riding jacket, which is half of a two-piece racing suit. I wear this jacket with jeans generally, but sometimes use the leather bottoms for touring.
It’s snug fitting and the 1.3mm full grain leather has a really nice satin finish to it, which looks classy. It has lots of stretch panels for comfort and comes with removable CE approved elbow and shoulder armour.
I also use a back and chest protector with it. I’ve been wearing it for a year for commuting and have done a couple of trips to Europe on holiday with it and it’s still as good as new.
What’s not: There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the fit or quality of this jacket but the price might be a stretch for those on a budget.
