What’s good? I really enjoy using this jacket and it’s become my default short journey and ride to work on sunny days choice in combination with a pair of jeans. As long as the weather is dry you can use this jacket in reasonably cold conditions thanks to the removable thermal lining. I chose the jacket because of the classic and subtle design which means I can wear it into town or to the pub without feeling too much of a try-hard who stands out too much. Two big pockets on the outside and others inside make it practical for everyday use and despite the retro looks the protection from shoulder and elbow armour is the latest spec.

What’s not? The cuffs are either a bit wide or a bit narrow for certain gloves and when they are tucked over gloves they are a bit too wide for me. As a result they do let in a bit of windblast up the sleeve, which is nice in summer but not ideal when colder.
