This interesting new product has surfaced on the internet the plug-in cooling/heating system from Entrosys that runs off your bike's 12V battery.

Does it look a little intrusive? Is it better than a vented jacket in summer or a heated vest in winter? We don't know. But we'd love to hear your thoughts...

But seriously... why the influx of so many gimmicky add ons? If you want warmth (or air con) get back in yer car! Open road and the wind in yer hair... all seems to be going to pot...

That just looks like summit out of Marks and Sparks Christmas 3 for 2... meant well.. but ultimately sh*t...

You know what would really interest me... a HUDD up display in yer visor, connecting to your bike's speedo over simple bluetooth... You could even pipe in a GPS feed as well...

Opening the visor doesn't help when the outside temperature is higher than body temperature - you just get hotter. As an Arizona rider, I routinely see summer temperatures in the Phoenix area over 110 F (43 C), while winter temperatures in the high country (e.g. Flagstaff, or Grand Canyon) can dip below 10 F (-12 C). Firebirdharris has the right idea with ice packs, but I'd like to arrive at work without being too disheveled or needing a shower, so I'd be curious to see how well this product holds up to long-term testing. It looks like it might use a lot of energy, so that would negate some of the "green" aspect of riding a bike vs. driving a car. Testing could prove or disprove that... hint, hint MCN! :)
