Muc-off Two-prong brush, £5
Time used:
Two years

What's good? After owning and using this brush (also available as part of a pack of Muc-off’s various brushes) for many years, I’m convinced that, as part of your bike cleaning arsenal, it’s invaluable

Five quid gets you a durable brush that routinely is called upon on my driveway for fiddly scrubbing jobs that other scourers can’t touch. Grimy spokes on my Bonnie get a thorough working over, and previous bikes’ tarnished brake discs have received special attention also.

It’s a really good tool for getting deep into your rear shock, too. Handily, the prongs are poseable, so you can widen or narrow their range according to what you’re trying to get either side of.

What's not? It’s not machine-washable, so you’ll have to use a bucket of soapy water. Just like the old days.
