Time used: 15 years (this is my second belt).

What’s good: I have used this money belt on almost every ride I’ve been on. The money stuffs neatly and unobtrusively in the zipped area and stays safe.

This has been as convenient in use on touring trips as it was at concealing my money in my previous life as a press photographer on assignments in Africa.

I usually keep bigger denominations stuffed away negating the need for a larger and more cumbersome money pouch. It also has a plastic buckle that has proved to be sturdy and durable. I replaced my first belt after 15 years of daily usage. Top kit.

What’s not: The belt is reasonably priced but be aware that they are only available direct from the USA so there is a nominal import duty charge. The belt does also cater for the larger waist but you could cut it down to size if you’ve excess material.
