Excellent starter and runner. Sounds lovely, classic ride! Near original condition. Would benefit from a top end rebuild soon, as slight leak from head gasket ( spares for this in sale) Carefully rewired loom. Puig screen and hot grips fitted for comfort. Bridgestone tyres, battery new May 2013. Also used downpipe and silencer. Comes with years MOT and 11 months tax. . Centre stand needs attention.

MCN designer Simon Relph bought this rust bucket 1979 Yamaha SR500 at the beginning of the year for just £50 with the aim of turning the bike in to a cool cafe racer.
