How does suspension affect understeer?

1 of 1

Also known as running wide, understeer is the bike’s inability to track a line through a bend. It usually occurs when a bike is set up too soft and the suspension wallows and struggles as physical cornering comes into play.

If it’s being caused by your suspension set-up, your first course of action should be to stiffen up the front (and rear to match).
