Choose a specialist supplier/manufacturer who can give decent back-up and advice. You are going to be spending somewhere between £350 and £1000 so don't give your cash to just anyone.
A big name brand such as Ohlins or WP can help the resale value of the bike as most people have confidence in the better-known brands.
