Q. I’ve just got a mint Suzuki Hayabusa which is great for me now I’ve got that boy-racer thing out of the system at the tender age of 48.

I just love the tidal wave of throttle response, but I’m not too keen on the way the Bridgestone BT56s are wearing away! Are there any other choices out there?

A. Avons AV55 and 56s will go on the Hayabusa and we’ve heard you can get about three times the mileage from them, especially if you ease off the tyre-shredding drag starts.
