Shoei XR-1100 problem

Anonymous, 15 March 2012 03:36

I wanted to pass on a concern I have with Shoei's XR-1100 crash helmet. The lid is awesome, very comfy, visor removal is easy and it is reasonably quiet. It suffers in one way only and has really caused me concern. It has a lip on the back and this in my opinion could possibly cause an accident. It is fine ...

EXO Heated gloves

Anonymous, 24 February 2011 15:46

What’s good: They are warm surprisingly and don't take too long to heat up. They don't take long to set up either, it's just a simple cable from your battery to a cable that I normally put under my jacket. What’s Not: After a few weeks they stopped working and haven't since! They are also no good in really cold ...

Great service from RST

Anonymous, 20 January 2011 19:19

I was riding to a hospital appointment this morning and, out of the blue, my bike slid from under me. I was only doing about 25-30mph on a straight road, but still managed to drop it. My bike only received minor damage but it's because of my RST kit that I'm submitting this story. I bought a set of RST Paragon ...

Can Datatool alarms be bypassed?

Anonymous, 02 August 2010 14:05

Last week my Triumph Street Triple, '09 plate LJ09 EVV with about 4,500 miles, was stolen from outside my house. The bike was covered, had the wheel lock on, and the alarm was armed and functioning. I was never more than 30 feet from the bike - was watching TV in the front room - and the alarm did not ...

Lidl motorcycle trousers

Anonymous, 03 June 2009 16:15

Bought a pair of Lidl motorcycle trousers last month (May09). Got caught in a tremendous storm near the Roaches between Buxton and Leek the other day. Pleased to say that I stayed perfectly dry. So far so good.   My Aldi summer jacket is proving to be Ok although I haven't experienced rain with it yet.

Oxford heated grips problem fixed

Anonymous, 16 February 2009 12:51

I bought Oxford Hot Grips at the NEC show, but like most people never kept the receipt. They failed after just 2 months and initially Oxford just said buy a new switch. After reading comments on forums, this appears to be a common fault. However I called Oxford again and spoke to an excellent member of their staff named Charlotte. She has done everything she can to help ...

Faulty luggage position on Suzuki Bandit GT

Anonymous, 07 May 2008 23:14

I have just purchased a bandit 1250 GT and when I got it home I found that you could not sit two people on the bike because of the position of the top box. It sits over the back seat and means there is less room for a passanger which means the driver gets pushed into the tank there is ...

Man on the Move

Anonymous, 30 March 2008 14:11

It all started way back in 1991 if I had never put the television on that day I wouldn't have known Michael Schumacher, I am so proud to be his number 1 fan. I have written a dedication/tribute book and it took 5 years to do, I finished on the day when he told everyone at Monza he was going to retire. Since then my book ...
