Unfinished project, no V5, £60,000

A bike that looks like this wouldn’t normally make a tempting financial investment but this one fetched £59,740 at a Bonhams auction.   The 1930 Brough Superior Overhead 680 doubled its top estimate despite having no paperwork, at the Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show in Stafford on Sunday.
