X-Games champ Jeremy Lusk dies after crash

Reigning X-Games champion Jeremy Lusk has died following a serious accident during an event in Costa Rica on Saturday. The 24 year-old freestyle motocross rider crashed his Yamaha YZ250 heavily after failing to fully rotate a flip. He was rushed into emergency surgery to drain blood that had collected around his brain, but died late last night.

BKS working on new body armour

James Toseland and Tommy Hill will test a new style body armour for leathers firm BKS, and you could be wearing it in 2010. Padova customs take on best from the US

Frenzied demand for Ducati’s Streetfighter has reached Siberia, with a customer phoning through an order to Ducati Glasgow. Boss Martin Rees says the regular customer is working abroad, but didn’t want to miss out on the firm’s gorgeous 1098-based naked. “He called up and put down a deposit on his credit card,” Rees told MCN.

Who says men can’t multi-task? This rider manages to negotiate through heavy traffic while writing a text message on his phone, and generally kicking back and relaxing. Could you relax on your bike with driving standards like that? Nice helmet, too.
