The 'First Annual Lincoln Classic Japanese Bike Show', is being held on Sunday 14 August at The Spa Showrooms, Lincoln in aid of charity Riders for Health  – an  award-winning social enterprise working to make sure health workers in Africa have access to reliable two-wheeled transportation so they can reach the most isolated people and supply them with regular and predictable health care.

The Spa Motorcycle Showroom on Greetwell Road in Lincoln is offering the chance to see road and racing bikes from the 50s up to the present day. Classic Japanese bike owners are encouraged to come and show their bikes, which will be judged by 7 times Isle of Man TT winner Mick Grant.  A range of awards will be on offer.

Manager Peter Littlewood, explained: "We wanted to stage an event to help the Riders for Health charity and involve customers and riders of older Japanese bikes. We sell a lot of genuine spares for older Suzuki bikes and we just love the old stuff like GTs and Katanas. Enthusiasts will be able to mingle with the riders and machines and there will be other events to keep riders interested including the chance to hear the XR69 and KR750 race bikes running".

Local riders are having phenomenal success in racing this year, and we hope to have TT legends Gary Johnson and Guy Martin, as well as Superbike stars Sam and Alex Lowes.

There’ll be a range of activities throughout the day; TT wheel-changing challenge, autograph and book signings, racing bikes on display, a raffle and goodies to give away too.
