 23 January 2012 16:56

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) Skill for Life (SFL) programme helps motorcyclists learn and apply the essential skills of advanced riding.

It will enable them to ride on public roads in a safer, more skilled, confident, controlled manner and ultimately become a better rider.

Motorcyclists are invited to attend a free course consisting of three, two hour theory presentations to be held at the George Albert Hotel, Wardon Hill, Evershot, Dorchester, Dorset, DT2 9PW. They will be held on Wednesday 11th, 18th & 25th April 2012 commencing at 7pm.

The presentations are arranged by the Dorchester & West Dorset Advanced Motorcyclists (DWDAM) and supported by Dorset County Council.

They are presented by an IAM Examiner (Grade 1 advanced ex-police motorcycle instructor).

For further details and to reserve a place, contact Brian Purnell, DWDAM Events Organiser by email at events@dwdam.org.uk or via the "Contact Us" page at www.dwdam.org.uk .These annual presentations have proved to be highly popular in the past with on average 100 motorcyclists attending each session hence early reservation is highly recommended.
