On Saturday 14th January, P&H Motorcycles (61-63 Gatwick Road, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9RD) are hosting a question and answer session, from 2pm til 4.30pm, with the MEP for the South of England, Peter Skinner.
MAG representative Chris Cordell said: "With the raft of changes being proposed within the EU this is a real opportunity for bikers to get to speak to someone who can really make a difference for us as our elected MEP in the EU. This isn't some fly by night politician looking for 3 minutes of glory this is someone who sits within the European commission and has voting rights as well as influence with other MEP's.
We really cannot miss opportunities like this and as such we need to be able to show our strength of how unhappy we are about all of the measures being proposed. If we don't turn out to meet him en masse, he will be within his rights to assume that no-one really cares about the issues, so why should he?"
Peter was elected to the European Parliament for the South of England Region in 1994. He has been a Member of the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee for 13 years and is also a substitute Member of the Industry, Research and Energy Committee. He chairs the European Parliamentary Insurance Caucus and the European Parliamentary Financial Services Forum.
