The start of British Summer Time this year down in Cornwall won’t only be a celebration of more daylight. It is also Easter Sunday – and that means it will be Moorlanders MCC’s Egg Run!

Bikers are invited to grab a chocolate egg on 31st March this year, and head to Davidstow Airfield at 10am for the Moorlanders’ 15th Egg Run.

Last year’s event raised over £4,500 for children’s charities in Cornwall, and around 500 bikers took part.

The Egg Run will start at Davidstow Airfield and take bikers on a marshalled route to meet a children’s charity to hand over Easter Eggs.

“Bikes of all types are welcome to take part,” said Graham the Moorlanders’ Chairman, “We’ve planned the route to be safe and enjoyable for everyone, and there will be awards for the Best British, European, Japanese & Rat Bikes, Best Trike and Best Club Turnout.”

The ride’s end event will have a bar-b-que with free burger for each biker taking part, stalls, live music and the prize giving. £5 donations will be collected per bike for the charities Action for Children, Children’s Hospice South West and the special needs units of Camelford and Launceston primary schools.
