...getting all excited about more legislation about a subject they clearly fail to understand, wouldn't it be better and cheaper for the EU to give every motorcyclist with less than 5 years experience one of these DVDs? 

Wouldn't that have a better impact on reducing the number of accidents? They're only a fiver each!

BTW, there was an accident on the A404 near the HandyCross roundabout this morning. I don't know what happened, but PLEASE, can we take care not to give the anti-bike lobby more ammunition? (Then there was the bloke in the blue Audi that drove through the red light I was standing at - mobile phone firmly pressed against his ear.)
