Our first time in Holland, a brilliant run up through this flat country, we stopped off at a museum with working windmills, Cclog factory - so many, all different colours and designs, huge barges going up and down the canals. Just amazing.

Assen is so huge and we were treated like royalty with our passes everywhere we went. I would like to thank the Crescent Fixi Suzuki Team for a brilliant weekend at Assen, our first time there and at a WSB meet.

Big thanks to Doris Valentine for inviting us over. Also to Richard Wynn of Fixi for the hospitality all weekend, Helen Taylor of Crescent for pampering to our every need. Finally to Big Jack for letting Rachel and me into the garage most of Sunday - hope we didn't get in the way too much.

It was a fantastic introduction to WSB for us, the track is awesome, the people so friendly, a beautiful country and a whale of a time. You guessed it, Drunk!

It was amazing to be in the garage area watching all that was going on; engines being built by the Yoshi guys, bikes being prepared by the technicians, it was just electric being in there.
