Picos De Europa

I've just come back from Northern Spain, the Picos De Europa mountains in a 16 bike group. The roads and scenery around there are truly stunning. The Atlantic-generated weather however was a bit hit and miss but a good time was had by all. Picture is at Riano, nestled in the mountains, with Andy, Gordon and Lee.

Sometimes you just can’t win. You’re riding along on a low-powered touring bike, taking in the scenery, breathing deeply and slowly and then… … we won’t spoil the surprise. The rider apparently escaped with nothing worse than a lower leg fracture, thankfully.
