Afternoon ladies and gentlemen, looking at my first bike and appear to have found quite a good example of a 2005 SV650 for <2k. I've done all the usual, tyres look good, service history present, asked questions about battery and how it's running (been in storage). Is there anything in particular that might have slipped my mind, or that something in particular those with a bit more knowledge might point out? It's not the most money in the world, but i've saved my pennies and i'm intending to have this bike for quite a while, so i'd appreciate any tips or hints?cheers
I use a TomTom 1005live sat nav on my bike mounted in a RAM holder. What I want to know is whether there is a blue tooth helmet set that will connect with it. In settings it only shows the options of phone or external speaker. I've got an ebay cheapo bluetooth that will not connect. I've tried wired earphones plugged into the active mount but volume is useless. Spoke to someone the other day who uses a Scala head set and he clained he could connect it to his TomTom one sat nav. Can anyone give me a definative ...
Hey,Are you looking for cheap hotel rooms during vacations. Then visit www.papatrip.com, book rooms and enjoy vacations.
I am looking to replace the standard Scorpion trail tyres with something hopefully a bit longer lasting as 7,400 miles has destroyed 2 rears (squared) and 1 front. The problem is the original size front is 100/90-19V limiting the choice. Could I legally fit an H rated instead of V as it still exceeds the bikes top speed or could I legally fit a 110/80-19V front as this opens up the likes of Michelin anakee 3 or pilot road 4 and Dunlop roadsmart. The rear is no problem as it seems a common size. Thanks for any advice.
Ok guys so about 6 months ago I financed a brand new Lexmoto XTRS 125 (I am never ever going near a Chinese bike again). Since I bought it I have had never ending problems! So the first thing I noticed was indicators not working when lights were on, sometimes they would, but I'd have to play around with them for a while. I mentioned this stuff in my 1st and 2nd service and they still hadn't diagnosed or sorted the problem. By my third service I was having issues with the bike sometimes cutting out and not wanting to ...
Just bought a 2002 Honda CTR125, believe it has the same engine as an XR125, it starts fine on choke but when you try to turn the choke off is will not tick over and when revved it pops and miss fires, tried adjusting the mixture screw but it doesn't help, it seems to run the best with it screwed fully in as when you turn it out it gets worse, anyone had this problem and knows what the possible cause could be ?
I need a very quick answer as I don't wanna take everything apart again! Can I run the engine without the radiator connected for a few mins? The reason is that I am not sure the front pipes I connected are correctly made! They don't seem to be square on and showing the ring. So I need to make sure that they run smoothly enough that I don't have to strip everything down again to get to the damn nuts!
