FZR600R Stumble

The old girl's developed an annoying hesitation in the 5K-6.5K band under load.Going from the overrun to on the power the bike actually slows down as you open the throttle, then it clears it's throat and sings all the way to the red.I think I felt it go one day, about 5 miles after filling up from empty (my reserve light wasn't working). Daytona fuel in oil

When checking my 2001 daytona 955i oil the other day I noticed that it smelt of petrol. I read that it could be that the mapping could be way out and over fueling and could possibly be pushing fuel past the cylinders. But I downloaded tune ecu put the correct map on, changed the oil but it now smells of fuel again. I then took the injectors out re connected them to the tank and repreasureised the fuel system and my injectors seem to be leaking slightly? Is this the reason? Or do they naturally leak? So so so confused!

CBR250R cruising hesitation

My 2011 CBR250R is  second-handed. It had run 7700km when I bought it. It is 14100km by nowIt's  easy to start and idles fine.Nothing seems to be wrong while playing throttle without load.But it hesitates while crusing at any gear any rev-range.The other thing is that when I give light gas after decelerate , the power won't be smooth and stable for a short period of time.No matter how carefully I give the gas, it feels like the engine pulls the chain and let go 1~2times in a short time , and then starts to accelerate smoothly.It's uncomfortable and dangerous ...

Kawasaki gpz 500 wont start

took the bike out but it started to have problems at low revs. would not rev then the power would come in if I kept the revs up it would go ok. just got it home then it cut out and would not start .took the carbs off cleaned new jets and pilots put it back together. but nothing not even a cough it has got a good spark but it not even trying to fire .took the carbs back off and checked everything seems ok .put it back together again .still nothing sprayed in some easy start it started but ...

Yamaha YBR 125 G block tyres, good for winter?

Hi, I am a new biker and purchased a yamaha ybr 125 g to learn.  The g model is the on/off road model that comes with block tyres.  I've heard that the tyres may not be good for use during winter on the roads.  Is that true? If so could anyone advise which tyres would be most appropriate for winter road use (live in Cumbria so roads can get icy and cold)?

Where's my NCB proof???

My motorcycle insurance recently (MCE Insurance) expired on 25/09/14 and I was expecting to receive proof of NCB shortly after this. I paid my premium in full last year and didn't make a claim.I sent an email to the Insurance company on 01/10/14 (6 days later) requesting proof of NCB.I then sent another email on 08/10/14 and still no response!I would like to know why this is such a hassle when I originally managed to find, pay for and receive all insurance documents start to finish in 15 minutes flat??I'm still waiting for a response from said insurance company and ...

any ideas on how to

Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC

I'm looking to change the standard pirelli diablo supecorsa sp's (200 on the rear). I'd like something more suited to our mixed weather in the UK, ie good in dry + wet, and warm up quickly. The bike can recalibrate itself to 190, 50 or 55. I've used Dunlop Sportsmarts before on other bikes, but looking for advice. Thanks
