Rideout days are normally Sundays for us.But with heavy showers forecast for today it wasn't looking good. So when I got a message that a couple of the guys were going out Saturday instead I was tempted. I already had stuff arranged for the afternoon but decided to 'grab the last minute opportunity' and join them for a couple of hours in the morning. It was a good choice. https://farm3.staticflickr.com/2899/14582063535_b4610dd680_o.jpgIt ended up with four of us (although I was only out till lunch time..with the threat of death if I wasn't home for ...
I've been watching my vid back of me doing it... and I'm concerned. I think I do it a bit fast, but then the big thing that really concerns me is I keep doing it as the traffic speed begins to pick up... probably too much. What speed does that traffic have to move at for you to stop filtering and get back in line with the traffic? I'm talking about on a three lane motorway/ dual carriage with plenty of space between the vehicles.
Hi All, I am trying to find my old bike - a 1977 Kawasaki Z1000a1 reg. no. SPF231R. I know it is currently SORN'd (thanks to the DVLA site) but I don't know who by. If anyone knows where this bike is, then please let me know.
Looking at bike change soon. Always had Japanese, and litre thou's for the last 7 years. Will be another thou sports but the euro beauties are certainly catching the eye... Hear some stories, a friend who's an aprilia mechanic says the electrics and software on the RSV4 are terrible, and iver heard alot of S1000RR's spend more time being fixed in the garage than on the road (Ducati not included Panigale out of budget). If I go euro for lust am I going to sacrifice reliabilty. The current offering from the Japanese four is a bit staid, apart from the ZX10 ...
I would be grateful if anyone can look out for my beloved bike, Honda CBF 125 M-B Licenced SA12 BXP 2012 stolen from my home - it was chained up to a ground anchor with an oxford chain with an oxford screamer disc lock and locked steering. The gate was also padlocked but they just cut through it all. It might be sold for parts. Te engine number is JC40E8032839 and the vin/chassis/frame no is ME4JC40A0B8006851. Stolen last night between 1:30am and 07:45am from Bo'ness, West Lothian. Saying that I am devastated is an understatement. Thanks!
How come nobody ever told me just how comfortable you can be on a red -hot day? I tried my new, scond hand, mesh 2 piece suit and have just spent two hours pootling around enjoying the coolness. The thermometer reads 28 outside, so quite warm today. I already had mesh gloves and I found the suit on eBay. %XA340, Heine Gericke with the labels still on. Never tried anything like it before. Strange sensation, compared with the leather or textiles I have always worn. I think I have to go out again later, just to enjoy it all over again ...
Saw one today.Maybe an age thing, but it really floats my boat.
