I'm considering luggage for my 'Bird & had thought that hard luggage, e.g. Givi, would be the way to go. The drawbacks appeared to be a ruination of the aesthetics of what is a beautiful machine, and b) the cost. I've recently come across Ventura luggage, which seems pretty good, & also seems positive in the light of the hard luggage drawbacks above. Have any of you out there got a Ventura system on your Blackbird &, if so, what do you think of it? Practicality, aesthetics, cost etc. Thanks people.

Do you run on your Birds. I have just put Pilot Powers on mine and wonderd if any of you have tried them. Because our roads are poor and abrassive, with high temps soft tyres shred in one or two spirited rides. I had Dunlops fit orginaly and I'm getting 8k on the front and 3-4 on the rears. Give me your feed back. Hoo Roo

Hi all I just seen a 98 imported Blackbird at a local dealer. It's done 18000 miles and is in very good condition (only previous owner was a copper). It's tagged at %XA34400 but I got him to drop it to %XA34000 on the phone before I even saw the bike. It still seem a bit steep for an import but what do you guys think I should be aiming for if I decide to haggle a bit? Also...anyone who has owned a pre and post fuel injecton Bird, is the difference that noticable? Is it wirth going for a ...

That bike sounds awesome, How do I get one in the us? Ive been looking over ST3's, fjr1300's, Sprint st's. The Blakbird sounds as good if not better. I still have to convert pounds to dollars but I figure it's in the same range.
