Test rode and bought an '04 blade today and was impressed with the power right through the rev range, swapping from an SP-1 I was surprised at how well this bike pulls from low down unlike some other litre 4cyl sportsbikes i've been on, also the brakes were awesome, excellent feel and sharp stopping power when you need it. More comfortable than my SP-1 too although i'll reserve judgement until I've ridden it further. Steering damper wasn't even noticeable at all. just order a new 2006 CBR1000RR need a alarm to put on it now have a meta on my gsxr750 thats been very good but i see honda do a AVERTO Alarm are thay any good and what are thay like to FIT
WHAT OIL SHOULD I PUT IN A CBR1000RR 2006
To fit a scottoiler to the 06 blade? There doesn't seem to be much room and if so where's best to put it and take the vacuum off, Carbs or fuel line? Swear by the one on my '99 blade but stumped by the new one.
Heard about this before, but until I got the new blade didn't really understand what it was all about. Is there any reason for it??? has anyone else managed to deal with it?? I find that depending on how hard I am braking it mightn't happen but then stopping at a red light when going slow the pads judder and rattle like their going to fall off. Bloody weird. Also while I'm having a moan. Get the engine on a bit of throttle mid corner and it all goes to pot, surging and slowing and whatever. It might be cured ...

just paid %XA3154 for 4000 mile service on o5 blade does this sound expensive? pal of mine just paid 105 for same service on k5 gsxr 1000 . dropped bike off at 9-15 collected it at 11 am i being a scrooge or is this price about right?

I can't make up my mind. Got a GSXR1000 in 2004 and thought I'd try a new fireblade last week.They're certainly quite different, but which is the best. I'd like comments from anyone who's had both, the blade had 10 miles on the clock so it felt a bit slimey on bends, not really a good test.
