Hi all I guess you guys are going to be biast but everyone keeps saying deauvilles are crap. Would one be right for me im moving up from a 400 and want soemthing for comuuting weekend rides not 180 mph everywhere but like to head off A road and a bit of touring. Problem: Front brake snatches particularly at slow speed and front suspension dives. I have discovered slight warping of front r/hand discs but which still appears to be within tolerance. Is it best to buy OE or pattern replacement? Should I change fork springs and oil? I have heard Hagon make good pattern springs. The oil is a mystery, the main Honda agents cannot tell me what the basic grade is, therefore I don't know what increase to make Any help would be appreciated Steve
please advise im looking into a new deauville because my pillion finds the bandit12 a pain in the arsss on long trips. i find most bike reviews compare all bikes to sportsbikes ie lacks power or handling (if that is what u wont then u would buy a sportsbike) i need to know is the bike comfy and good for longer trips 2 up
anyone had a rust problem with there vtx i noticed on mine that on almost every weld on the frame rust has apeared even though it has only been out in the dry it is garadged and cleaned after every ride and every weekend.
