nobody owns a 748 anymore. or, if they do, they haven't got time to work out how to post a message here.
Preferred by some to the Ducati 999, and for good reason. The Ducati 749 is a cheaper motorcycle new or used, plus the smaller engine makes just the right amount of power for the chassis in certain road riding situations. The Ducati 749 has a kind of balance, an addictive precision, in its steering, acceleration and braking that makes it a machine that...
The Ducati 748 is nearly identical to the iconic Ducati 916 but with a smaller engine (and narrower rear wheel). That means sublime handling on smooth surfaces, terrible comfort, high running costs and a feel-good experience most other motorcycle can%X92t touch. Even well over a decade on few motorcycles match the simple, gorgeous curves of the Ducati 748.
Hello everyone, I am a semi pro photographer and I have a studio booked this saturday, 28th oct near Stevenage, I have had 2 bikes cancel on me in the last 2 days, I was just wondering if anyone on here has, or knows anyone with a race replica that would be available for the shoot, I have a few models coming along throughout the day and will be able to provide a disc of all pics taken of the bike, check out my website, www.imm-photography.co.uk for samples of my work, and if anyone is free then mail me through ...
hi, does anyone know the average life span of a 999 clutch? mine has done 5500 miles and started playing up tonight( i,d just jet washed it earlier, maybe this was something to do with it)after riding about 3 miles the clutch lever wouldnt go all the way out and was jerking,it then righted itself and seemed ok.i had to stop the bike to have a jimmy and then on re-starting, the 1st gear didnt make its usual "clunk" sound when engaged and the bike would not pull away.as i was on a quiet country road about 2 miles from home ...
If the swingarm of the new 999 fits on the 2003 modle?????????????????

Sadly my Neighbors son was tragically killed in a plane crash. He came round to see me this evening (as I have a bike) to ask my advice about selling his sons Ducati 851. I said I'd look into it for him and get an idea of what it's worth. Unfortunately this model is not listed on the dropdown menus under Ducati nor is it listed on the parkers used bike price check. It's J reg with 36000miles, FSH, just about every receipt from new. I've been told it's like brand new. Can anyone advise me please on the approx ...
Had a little "incident" 12 months ago which involved a high speed stoppie. Ever since, there has been brake judder coming down through 50mph. OK for road work but spoils the track day fun a bit. Disks measure true with dial gauge (< 5 thou run-out). Can't see any blemishes on the disks themselves. Have cleaned calipers, pistons, and tried new pads all to no avail. %XA3360 for new disks - anyone know of another option. Safe ridin' - Stormin.
