Hi, this is my first post so go easy on me..... basicaly i have had my bandit for a while now and i see riders all the time on simlar bikes droping the pegs and getting there knee down round bends. im not the usual stupid boy racer lad wanting to be the next valentino rossi but was wanting some tips on how to do this so for the future its a tool i can use ect if i need to. anyone have any advice on how to practice ect. Regards andy
I lean a fair way through the corner, I lean off my bike and sometimes hang a knee out. i have dragged my toe once and since then, I have never had the confidence to point my toes out. Am I doing something common/normal by putting my feet way back on the pegs and only bringing them foward when they are needed? Is there a better way to have your knee drag before your toe? tell us how you ride your bike fast around corners.
Hi guysWhen approaching a 1st gear corner, I'm in 3rd gear rushing down the straight with the corner ahead of me.I find I can improve my time if I keep in 3rd and keep accelerating for as long as possible. Shortly before the corner, I'll brake and simultaneously blip and downshift 2 gears basically missing 2nd gear all together. I don't have a slipper so it gets a little jumpy at the back but I can reduce that with a little bit more practice. Is this good practice or should I be downshifting from 3rd into 2nd and then into 1st ...
I own a 99' Honda Hornet and am starting to really get into track riding. If I am serious about improving my technique do you think I'd be better off changing to a sportsbike? Or is the Hornet perfectly adequate?
Grade yourselves:a) I regularly read the vanishing points of the onrushing bend and use that info to accelerate or brake accordinglyb) A bend? I take a cue from traffic ahead and then vow to pass them all on a straight bit of road.c) Am fully alert for signs to the "Stavros Kebab Van" that can't be far away. Cup of splosh and a greasy dog.Yes, I am bored.

Hey all. Had 2 years on cbt riding every day come rain, shine, snow or ice, took the plunge 2 months ago and started going about getting a proper license.Managed to pass Mod 1 no minors 2nd time round (locked rear wheel on emergency stop 1st go). Managed to fail Mod 2 twice now and wondering if it might be time for more lessons? (although the school I'm with assure me there is no need). 1st Mod 2 I failed with one serious fault and no minors for turning nearside to nearside with an oncoming vehicle (both of us turning ...
