Just bought a 2002 Honda CTR125, believe it has the same engine as an XR125, it starts fine on choke but when you try to turn the choke off is will not tick over and when revved it pops and miss fires, tried adjusting the mixture screw but it doesn't help, it seems to run the best with it screwed fully in as when you turn it out it gets worse, anyone had this problem and knows what the possible cause could be ?
Whether you are a road rider or a racer correct suspension setup is the key to fast smooth riding and consistent lap times To get the best out of your bike it needs to be set up for the conditions in which you will be riding It is considerably easier to set the bike up for the Track as you know what conditions will be like for the next hour or so and thus you can dial in the optimum settings for the that particular situation. To what extent you change your suspension settings will depend on whether your bike ...
I need a very quick answer as I don't wanna take everything apart again! Can I run the engine without the radiator connected for a few mins? The reason is that I am not sure the front pipes I connected are correctly made! They don't seem to be square on and showing the ring. So I need to make sure that they run smoothly enough that I don't have to strip everything down again to get to the damn nuts!
I had a new tyre fitted and when I got home to check with "pencil type" guage it showed 25psi. I did a check because the steering did feel a little unusual. My bike needs 32psi.So I've been back to the dealer who were very helpful they did work on the tyre and upon return I whipped out my pencil tyre pressure guage in front of the manager, I asked "what the tyre was inflated to?" he say 32 psi, I did the test and it was 37psi So he went into ...

I'm doing my DAS at the moment, enjoying it, and considering what bike to buy. My instructor recommended, since I want to do touring and long distances on motorways, that I get nothing smaller than a 900-1000cc. However, I have a gravel drive, and a ramp up to a single garage, and I'm concerned about manouvering that sort of weight.A friend recommends a BMW F800, with a low seat. But I'm not *that* small. Is a 1000cc first bike for a woman a nuts idea? Has anyone any experience / recommendations? Thanks,Jake
Can anybody tell me if the standard fuel injected Honda 125 Varadero can be de-restricted? Its a wonderfull little bike and because of the learner laws it only puts out 15 bhp. Riding 125s in the 60s 70s & 80s they were really quite quick. My old Honda 125 twin was a real flyer! Your comments I await.
