Hi Guys,I'm picking up my first big bike next weekend and am looking for recommended clothing sites. I think from looking on most reviews it is best to aim for 2pc leather. I have bought a GSXR but am looking for neutral black leathers, nothing to match the bike is fine... Safety and utility wins the day for me.Anyone had a good deal from somewhere recently or regular shop at a trusted shop>? Please reply to help me out. Cheers MCN community Ady
Question, you know when the road is really wet but running through the middle of the wet road in your lane is a strip of rough tarmac that looks dry....is it a deceptive trap or a god send to a motorcyclist?
Anyone have any inspirational tips, as this is REALLY getting me down. Lifelong rider here from the USA, I bought a bike in Nov and have been getting all the legal stuff done ASAP.I'm scheduled to take my 4th Mod 2 at Uxbridge on March 18. It's getting ridiculous and I don't understand the process.A test with no strict criteria for pass/fail is luck at best.My first test, my 2 "serious" faults werea) Leaving my signal on to long after turning right, HARSH but fair enoughb) not giving right of way in a round about...BUT, as stated by the instructor ...

I've replaced the clutch plates and springs on my 2002 zx6r with an EBC SRK kit. Now, going up on the power it's fine just like normal, no slipping or anything but in 3rd if i let off the power at 10k revs it's like it's running out of petrol the revs just drop to about 5k when it clears and then its fine. This only happens with 3rd gear and lower RPM is smooth as anything. Any ideas? Thanks Tom
I'm getting no spark on my 2004 CBF500 non ABS. I bought the bike as non runner with suspected starter clutch issue. That has now been sorted and the startr motor is turning the engine over but I can't get any spark on the spark plugs. Is there immobiliser on this bike with key chip linked to ECU? I checked for obvious like faulty spark plugs. Also tried to put just the spark plug leads near the metal parts to check for spark.
Hi, Just a quick one if anyone can help.Riding home yesterday i stopped at a petrol station i use frequently.Went in and paid, came out, key in, ignition on, dials did the little dance, pulled brake in, thumbed the starter, nothing, didnt even turn over.I remembered reading in my owner manual, that electrical interference can mess with the immobiliser, so wheeled it around the corner and tried again, nothing.Getting a little bit annoyed, i sat there looking at it, and tried again, i pulled both brake levers in as hard as i could and it started.Still thinking interference was the ...
I have seen many supposed engine life enhancing additives advertised in MCN and demo's at bike shows but do they really do any good to your engine or is it money down the drain?
hello, i have a cbz xtreme of 2009 make with 25k run. i've modified my bike looks wise. even I've k&n installed with a doulble exhaust in bike. i have 120/80/18 tyre. its top end is 85 due to undergear sprockets. now i am willing to increase engine bore and top end. it has 57.3 x 57.8 mm bore x stroke and want to make it upto 62.5 x 57.8 mm.wil it go faster by just increasing power or have to change sprockets?is it possible to increase bore upto 6mm in size for more power? what are effects of increasing ...
http://www.grip-lock.com/Grip-Locks/ I saw this advertised on Facebook, and thought that this is a complete wast of time and money. If you use this item as your main and only security , i dont think it would take much imagination to bypass it ....a house brick comes to mind..... what thief really cares about a broke front brake lever???!. If your a clever thief youll have a spare brake lever, ( maybe a throttle grip too) and some basic tools lol... I wander if once the lever is broken if the security device can be wacked off with the throttle ...
