I've recently bought a '99 Suzuki XF650 Freewind, and I'm worried about its clutch/transmission. When i'm crusing in 2nd and i want to slow down and put it into first, i sometimes hear a grinding sound, and it doesnt go into first easily or at all, it gets stuck in neutral. A bypass I've found is double clutching it, once clutch into neutral and once more into first.
Hi, currently restoring a 1985 Kawasaki GPZ400R. Like many other things, it's tyres were shot & someone had had a go at carving them up. Given old bike/newer tyre technology debate, what tyres would you recommend for general leisure riding/UK touring on this bike? Thanks
Hello, all being well I pass my mod2 on Friday and pick up a bandit600.Ive trained on an ER6 which is torquey. I guess the bandit600 is much miore rev happy and needs to be revved harder. Please give me an insight so I can jump on and head off with a little experienced voice in the back of my mind telling me what to expect.Appreciate it. Fingers crossed for Friday! Shoulder check. Cheers, Glenn. Shoulder check.
Afternoon ladies and gentlemen, looking at my first bike and appear to have found quite a good example of a 2005 SV650 for <2k. I've done all the usual, tyres look good, service history present, asked questions about battery and how it's running (been in storage). Is there anything in particular that might have slipped my mind, or that something in particular those with a bit more knowledge might point out? It's not the most money in the world, but i've saved my pennies and i'm intending to have this bike for quite a while, so i'd appreciate any tips or hints?cheers

Hi guys, i've got a 2011 KTM Duke 125, done 12,500 miles. I used to ride it daily until I fell off and broke my elbow.Unaware of my injuries i rode the bike home (3/4 of a mile), as the only damage was a smashed mirror slightly bent gear selector and a twisted clutch lever. It has been sat for 4 weeks now and when i try to start it, it just turns over but doesn't fire up. All the fuses are fine and i can hear the fuel pump whirring when i turn the key. It has plenty of fuel ...
I use a TomTom 1005live sat nav on my bike mounted in a RAM holder. What I want to know is whether there is a blue tooth helmet set that will connect with it. In settings it only shows the options of phone or external speaker. I've got an ebay cheapo bluetooth that will not connect. I've tried wired earphones plugged into the active mount but volume is useless. Spoke to someone the other day who uses a Scala head set and he clained he could connect it to his TomTom one sat nav. Can anyone give me a definative ...
Hey,Are you looking for cheap hotel rooms during vacations. Then visit www.papatrip.com, book rooms and enjoy vacations.
I am looking to replace the standard Scorpion trail tyres with something hopefully a bit longer lasting as 7,400 miles has destroyed 2 rears (squared) and 1 front. The problem is the original size front is 100/90-19V limiting the choice. Could I legally fit an H rated instead of V as it still exceeds the bikes top speed or could I legally fit a 110/80-19V front as this opens up the likes of Michelin anakee 3 or pilot road 4 and Dunlop roadsmart. The rear is no problem as it seems a common size. Thanks for any advice.
