Hi All,Just a quick query regarding a collision I had two months ago.I was shunted from behind whilst stationary at a set of lights on a roundabout by a HGV. As I approached the lights, I could see that the HGV at the front of the queue in lane 1, had left quite a gap between itself and the solid white stop line at the lights. I proceeded to the lights in lane two, which was empty, and then signalled to move into lane 1, the lane I wanted to be in, in front of the HGV. I positioned ...
I'm in the market for some tyres for my 2010. I use it for weekend blasts and the odd trackday. I'd love some GP Racers, But ive got quite a low budget. For my money im looking at BT016 PRO or the old michelin pilot power 2CT. Which would be better, or can you recommend any others?
I am looking for an Air compressor to remove water from my bike after I have cleaned it.
The biting point has changed to being further in on the lever quite suddenly several times now. And the lever feels a bit like it's not as springy as it was.No clutch slip at all mind. It's caught me out and I've shot off before the clutch usually engages a few times so it's a touch dangerous. The gears stick too and don;t change smoothly.Buggered clutch springs,or does it just need a whole new clutch? D.i.y able? Or garage job best? It's a nice bike when it works right lol
My wife and I are planning a tour for next year and will be riding from Klotten, near Cochem to Schenkenzell in the Black Forrest. We don't want to ride motorways all the way. Has anyone got any good routes?
I have seen few 7%X94 x 5%X94 plates around ( I never understood how they got away, I believe they are illegal ), I want / need a smaller size than 9" x 7" for my new surround. I am trying to understand the sometimes obscure UK law. The requirements for motorcycle%X92 plate are: Character height 64mm Character width (except the figure 1 or letter I) 44mm Character stroke 10 mm Space ...
my "06 Honda 919 sat for maybe 2 months, ran fine when parked now will not start. I changed out the old gas in tank, replaced the battery and added some Startron in case was any water in tank. The starter turns engine fine but will not crank. The plugs are fine, has spark, K&N filter is fine and only 11,700 miles. The only up-grades was the filter, Power Commander and Two Brothers pipes 4 years ago. It has been problem free till now.
The brake lever comes back too far. The brakes have been well bleed and the pads are good. Oddly,(after reading this on the net)pushing the pads back then pumping the lever to push them back produces a good lever again, but it does not last but a few days riding. I've performed this trick today as the lever was back to the bar,but it's slightly better when pumped. I noticed today that the little air vents in the fluid res cap were furred up slightly so I have wire brushed them clean. But they were not blocked up enough to previously stop my ...
Hi Back in July I was unfortunately came off a right hander at around 40 mph. I was fine but the bike obviously had some damage that resulted in an insurance claim through Bennetts. The claim was handled well and the bike was picked up in early August by the repairer Fourth Dimension. In mid September I was informed that the repair would not be completed until 20th November due to a Ohlin fork part being on back order. Today I have just been informed that the part now will not be available until January 2014, 6 months from when the ...
