Both fork legs have now blown seals. I am 18 stone and carry a pillion (my son who is 4 1/2 stone) I would like to get them refurbished and re-valved for my weight. Please can you let me know of any companies who you could recommend, that aren`t to expensive (but then it needs to be done). I would appreciate any help or advice.Many ThanksSteve

HiI`m currently sorting out my suspension and was looking at a nitron rear shock but i wonder if any of the brains out there would know if another shock from a different bike would fit and do just a good of job . Hey everyone I am taking my mrs pillion on my 1990 cbr600 quite a lot and realized that the bike was set up by the previous owner for his frame (tiny compared to me) Me and my partner both weigh around 12-12.5 stone and I know this is relatively close to the recommended max weight limit (think about 25lbs off it)So I am going to raise the pre load to its max as I spend about 70% of the time taking her pillion it seems to make sense to leave it set up for both of us.How exactly do I do ...

Hi, I passed my test in June last year and brought a 2005 1050 sprint ST. As I%X92ve learnt a few things I%X92d like to tension the rear suspension a little (I have panniers etc. fitted for long M6 commutes). However, when coming to adjust the suspension I found it to be stuck solid (even trying to use a socket wrench). I%X92ve been advised by my local Dealer (Triumph) that there is every chance it will snap off should I try to move it now it%X92s seized. I%X92ve starting applying a little wd40 which I intend to do a regular intervals ...
Hi all,my k2 SV650s has just failed it's MOT due to this excessive play. The guy at the garage was rubbish and had no useful information except 'it may be just a nut that need tightening'. My question is this - is this likely to be an issue I can solve myself with a tool kit and day off, or do I need to book it in and spend?the handling has not felt particularly different since I bought it, though it's done 12k this year and it's my first bike so I have no comparison!Any advice gratefully received :-)
Ive been trying to adjust my suspension settings as the bike never feels as sharp and precise/predictable as i want it to be but one serious fault ive been trying to tune out is a problem at the back end ive noticed going through fast slight bends when on the power and leaned over just a little the back end will start bobbing up and as someones jumping up and down on the end of the bike, this is at the manufacturers recommended settings tryed stiffening the damping and compression but get the same issue any advice???
Hi, Hoping some one can help, my front forks on my 2004 gsf 600 bandit are rusted and could prob do with swapping. I put 30k on her this year, I can not find any k4 forks on ebay and a like, but can find tones of K1 forks, I was just woundering how compatble they are? Are the widths and such the same and the mountings for brake discs?Or Do I need to wait get my self some K4 ones?Thanks
