Well after some weeks of debate and advice my shortlist if I trade in my 2001 R1 is down to just 2 - a GSXR750K5 or a 600RR. 90% of the time I am sure the RR will be just fine. However there will be at least one fully loaded european week away and probably a few days loaded up to the TT. Can the RR cope ???? Advice please. Cheers.
I rode my bike to Rockingham in the pouring rain done a track day in the dry and rode back in the rain, washed my bike let it dry out and put back in the garage. Now it will not start turns over ok but it's not firing the AA man checked all the fuses and they are all fine and he could not fix it, any ideas what it could be?
Hi all, I have a problem. . . . Now honda have updated the CBR600for 2005, I love it. I also love the new colours on the fireblade. I already own a 600cc sports bike and am looking to change. Do I go for another 600, or take the leap of faith and go for the blade. Were any of you guys in this situation ? If so why did you go for the 600 ? Any advice would be really appreciated.
Has anyone done a step by step instruction for installing one of these on our bike ? I really don't want to make a pigs ear of this "simple procedure". I've already lost two bolts somewhere inside !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ICU is shot on my '99FX. Got another coming in the post from a local breaker, then I find out it may be useless when it arrives! The keys are coded to the OE, so will the replacement recognise the OE keys? Will it register them? Can the ICU be wiped, or made to recognise them? This HISS lark may be a kicker for the thieves, but its not short of that for us owners either! All help welcome.
Just had notification from Honda my bike has been recalled for rear brake problem. When I first read article in MCN my Chassis no. was not on the list to be recalled. Does anyone know if this is now all bikes to be recalled and are you all aware of this problem?
