Lots of potential slippery places but the Striple always behaves beautifully on bad road surfaces and I had a fun ride, via the back lanes to the meet. Breakfast was heaven on a plate. My maths isn't the best but when weighing up these two MCN tells me:CBF500Fuel capacity 19 litresAv fuel consumption 45 mpgTank range 180 milesCB600F HornetFuel capacity 19 litresAv fuel consumption 62 mpgTank range 140 milesWhat am I missing?...19 litres = 4.2 gallonsso...62mpg = 260 milesor140 miles = 33.3mpgWhat gives? I have a CBF500 and it's spot on - 180 miles every time.Is the mpg for the Hornet wrong?
