Hey all I currently have 150/70 zr15 tyre on the rear of my bike and am about to change as it is starting to get to legal tread levels. I have seen a rear tyre that is in decent condition but it is 140/80zr17 now I know nothing about tyres but have been told that on my bike the 140 is maximum size I can get, the tyre I have on there seems to have cut into my rear hugger so I am guessing this is bad. My question is will the new tyre the 140 fit on the wheel of the ...
Hello. I own a DRZ 400 S and live in the UK. Could anyone advise replacement tyres to fit for 70 % road commute 30 % weekend forest trail use. Bridgstone have advised me that the Trail Wing tyre TW 41 80-100-21 is no longer available. I would prefer a similar style of tyre (not too aggressive on the knobblies) and hopefully the same manufacturer for the rear (currently TW 42 120-90-18) Many thanksSteve
My Panigale is due a new set of boots. Whilst the 200 section supercorsa is great in the dry, it is a bit scary at high speed in the wet. My only choice of other tyres are 190 section. Is this a safe/wise move ? Anyone had any experience of changing section size ?
2008 GL1800 Goldwing. Rear tire had about 15000 kms when I took it off. I can't get an answer to my question that makes sense. Why the uneven wear? I appreciate any comments that might help.
hiI have a cbr1000fh and would like to get some good grippy tyres for my bike. would my options by improved if I was to swap the wheels for a pair from a later cbr1000fn model.
i have a 86 cbr1000fh and have been offered a pair of wheels from a 91 cbr1000f. i realise it will been some serious tinkering, utilizing the later models rear shock, front sprocket cover with speedo drive plus other minor changes.my question is, is there any real advantage to fitting the later wheels or is it going to be more of a cosmetic exercise rather than a performance booster. will they really help the bikes handling?cheers
