It's time to again replenish the sticky stuff and again it's a hard decision as to the best performing tyre for my climate and riding conditionsI'm not exactly a tyre expert and the local bike shop keeps pushing the tyre on their max margin. Typically my choice is Michelin pilot power as they are predictable at traction and edge, but the life isn't that long and when new are a bit squirmy. The bike shop put on Dunlop qualifiers on my 675 but a few two wheel drift knee saves later and those are in the sin bin...
hi i own a ninja 250 2012 and i ride it all year round and was just wandering what tyres would suit it best in the wet and dry as i ride all year round. many thanks ross :)
I have a Buell XB12XT and I'm looking for a recommendation on tyres. I raced for a few years on the short circuits and roads over here in Ireland, I dont care if I have to put new tyres on every 1000 miles as I'm well used to buying a couple of sets a month! Currently have Pirelli strada (came fitted) but feel I'm at there limit, I like fast road riding, wont be doing any track days but will be on the odd green lane, gravel track when I take the wee lad away camping. Was considering the new ...

Triumph tt600 with michelin 2ct on at the moment but i have destroyed them both now beading on the edges with blue tinge on rear and front both worn right down to limit Any Suggestions Tyres need to handle quick road riding in wet and dry looking for decent mileage price doesn't matterThanks
Just ordered the new Bridgestone BT-T30 which replaces the BT-023. Its a real mine field looking for tyres, but I decided that I anit no GP racer so these should do the trick. The Dunlops have done 6000 with plenty left but were always rubbish when damp or raining.
is the pilot power 2ct discontinued? what would be a good fast road / track tyre?
hi this is a message for the tyre doctor. As we had some nice weather this weeknd I wanted to take my bike out for a ride.as I was wheeling it out my garage I noted something in my tyre.to my horror I noted that a 40mm screw had completly embeded itself in my rear tyre.to say I was gutted was an understatement.not only could I not go touring today but id now might have to buy a new tyre.the screw was at the very edge of the tyre and did not puncture it.i think it had traveled all ...
My Honda CB1300 runs a standard rear tyre of 180/55 I would like to replace that with a 190 section, would that size tyre upset the handling in any way?
In another thread I've just said how much I like bt-023s, but for entirely budget reasons I'm considering putting a set of these on. I've managed 9k out of the bt-023s so far and a set of conti's is about half the price, so if I get 5-6k from the conti's I'd be happy....unless they're awful..Anyone got any opinions either way?
