Does anyone have any sensible or useful tips on getting to spain. I've done it before about 6 years ago on the P&O Portsmouth to Bilbao route but it seems to be nearly double the cost now (nearly %XA3400 each). There's between 4 and 6 of us going all with our own bikes. I've looked briefly at the Brittany Ferries plymouth to Santander route but that also looks similarly expensive.
Mid August I am going to go on my first tour on a gixxer 750. The route so far is very very vague as I still have a lot of planning time. So far the plan is to get a ferry to Sanatder, Spain drive around there for a few weeks then go through france into Italy. Will be using a sat nav most probly a zumo. r they any good??Anyone got any routes in mind for me to start some research on?This will be my first tour. Hi all Im trying to find out if carrying a 12kg dog in a proper ventelated cage on the rack which the top box locks onto. I have tried the RSPCA and the local police but there dosent seem to be a definitive answer also any of our French/ Spanish friends know the law relating this in there countrys

Hello, I am currently working on a trip from Leeds to Lithuania my plan is to go to Paris, Zurich, Venice, Vienna, Prague and then Poland and Lithuania where I have been given a summer job.
