Belts & buckles

I've got this little collection of belt buckles, a wee fascination for things a bit quirky, leathery & motorcycle related. I found these 2 in a rastro today near Alicante. The belt & buckle plus the Indian head buckle for %X8015 not bad ! that's 17 buckles total so far some old some not old.

tyre warm up time

tyre reviews keep saying for instance "quick warm up time"with modern day sport touring rubber how long is that? I know it depends on air and road temp but say average temp for a spring days riding are we talking 5 minutes 15 minutes? two miles or ten? just wondered.

Video: Honda VFR800 first ride

The V4 VFR was one of Honda's most respected bikes of the 80s and 90s until it somehow went wrong with the VTEC version in 2002. So this surprise and mostly all-new VFR800F has raised both anticipation and scepticism in equal measure. MCN got a world first ride to see if it's worthy of the name.

Second bike advice

So I'm 17 and I've been riding for a few months and in that time I have really gotten into it! I love riding, even just getting up to go to work makes it that bit more worthwhile. I'm hoping to do my A2 next year but I don't know which bike to get...My current bike is a Lexmoto xtrs 125. a cheap CBR replica, it does the job but I want something with a bit more power and I'll have a bit more money to spend too. I really like sports bikes and want to get one for my ...

St Annes bike meet!

A good night for my first visit of the year here and a good turn-out. Took these 3 photos standing on a wall looking to my left, right and straight ahead down a side street. If you think this is busy, you want to see it when the weather is warm. Bikes are down every street around here. This car parking area you see here is for bikes only by order of the council after 6pm every Monday night!
