Hi All,
I have just bought some heated grips for the Suzuki GS500F - they are the roxio ones from Tesco. I know the best way is to wire them into something that is only ignition on so they don't affect the battery when the bike's not in use... thing is... where to find a wire that is ignition on... Does anyone with a GS500 know what I should be looking for or has done anything similar to this...? Any help would be much appreciated!

Does anyone know if you can fit GSX-R type handlebars to a GS500? And if so do you know where to buy them?

Get yourself a dirt cheap Suzuki GS500 or a Kawasaki ER5...get use to the power then upgrade to something more suitable. :)

If you're after one don't be put off by poor reviews from the motorcycle media. The reviewers get to ride the very best machinery for free, and as a result don't have anything positive to say about the GS500. I love mine and would take it anywhere.

Hi, I'm looking for some advice please regarding new tyres for my 52 plate GS500. Currently I have Bridgestone 110/70-17 54H & 130/70-17 62H. I have my first track day in April and going on my first touring holiday round Ireland in May. What tyres would be suitable for both as I'm not made of money and can't afford to have different tyres for the different activities. Many thanks in advance.

After much deliberation, I have decided to sell my 02 KTM LC4 SM because I just can't stop wheelieing. I just know I'm going to get nicked. BUT I will still need a toy that is slow enough to not get me into (serious) trouble. To this end, I have decided to build a special, based around a Suzuki GS500e. There will be MANY mods, but my question to any of you is........
Are there any ENGINE or CARB differences between the E model and the K model?? I didn't even realise they had updated it until I started ...

The last of the GS500F they've stopped making them now. I love my bike it's small but beautiful.
