Before I sadly blew my engine up it run sweet as a nut, it had a set of Viper race cans, K&N Air filter and to my supprise since stripping carbs Dynojet set up. My 2002 Firestorm coughs when riding in slow traffic on a nearly shut throttle. Its not in the exhaust. Recent service ok. I have heard an SP-1 doing it. Do they all do it? Is it a fact of life with these bikes? Otherwise it pulls like fury. Its also a bastard to start, this time it does backfire! Any thoughts? Neil H

my baby was found and returned to me yesturday but it has quite abit of damage, but mainly top yoke and locks are all it really needs to be put back on the road, if the insurance right it off, do you think i should buy it back and repair it. if so should i then keep it or sell it, please help i really don't know what to do.

my baby was stolen on monday night from east london, insurance have asked me to send off all paper work already without saying they will pay out but i have to wait 21 days before they will decide if they are going to pay out. Should i send these now or after 21 days, also if any1 sees my baby would be very greatful if you let me know.

my 98 firestorm suddenly cut out when out for a ride.it would not start again.after pushing it to my bro's for 6 mile I was told to get a new battery,still would not start,just clicking noise from starter relay,then I was told new regulator....after spending 100 pounds so far on advice! still no start and just clicking from the relay? someone has suggested it may only be a bad or corroded earth connection(from the battery negative lead to where it connect to the bike).All the lights,indicators,horn etc still work fine when ignition on,but when I press the starter button as ...

test rode one today and loved it,have any of you owned one if so is there anything to look out for,its done 11000 miles are they due a costly servise at 12000,any advice would help but what a great bike
