Inveraray rideout

Me and my brother Jim eventually arrive in Inveraray. The Kymco is a great wee bike for the twisty roads and the Bandit ...you could ride all day...comfy as an armchair. Time for a well deserved cup of tea and a haggis supper.

Kymco KR Sport 125 (2010-current)

A very decent sporty 125 with great equipment and good handling that%X92s let down by an inflated price tag. Those that need a cheap runaround will opt for a Chinese-made budget equivalent, while performance obsessed young %X91uns will go for the pricier CBR125R or a YZF-R125. If you find yourself in possession of a KR Sport or can nab a...

Kymco Super 8 125 (2010-current)

The Super 8 125 is probably the most polished feeling scooter that Kymco make. It offers the sportiness of the Agility with the comfort of the Like. The ride has a nice feel to it and the finish on the dash, seat and pipes looks the best of the lot. It%X92s well priced too.

Kymco 300i Downtown (2010-current)

Practicality and convenience are where today%X92s large capacity scooters come into their own. Such an example is Kymco%X92s new 300i Downtown %X96 we say example because it is a new arrival in a growing populace of big-bore four-stroke scooters. At %XA33999, the Kymco%X92s 300cc capacity sits performance-wise between Suzuki%X92s Burgman 200 and 400 machines, and matches Honda%X92s SH300i. What sets the...

Advice for 125cc choice

Hi everyone; I have decided to get a bike and am now looking at sites to know what brands/models I should go for. As I am totally new to bikes, there are many aspects I have no clue about. If you have any advices based on my needs bellow, please share. The main purpose of the bike would be city rides. Typically about 40km (26miles), from home to the office, per day but also as a "recreational" bike to ride the countrysides' little roads during summer weekend trips, and to "road trip" using freeways to get to the destination ...

Kymco KR Naked 125 ridden

The first thing that strikes you about the new KR 125 is just how aggressive and good looking it is. If it wasn%X92t for that tiny engine hanging from the beefy aluminium spars of the frame, most of us could be forgiven for thinking it was a much bigger bike. And this is what MCN thinks will attract younger riders...

Hoping someone has some experience with the problem we're having at the moment. My husband took the first part of his test a month ago and passed, however the test centre don't have his bike (Kymco People S125) in their system and are witholding his pass certificate saying they need official proof his bike has the correct horsepower etc. He's taken every bit of documentation he has for the bike including the manual which confirms what they are asking and they are still refusing to issue the test certificate, now saying they need proof from the exporter...the bike is 4 ...
