But is this enough for the Husqvarnas to make learner-legal off-road machinery as popular as Yamaha’s YZF-R125 has been for entry level sports bikes? The SMS4 125 isn’t the cheapest learner legal available at £3219 – but cheaper than the new Lambretta LN125 scooter ...

Following an accident last week i was appointed the default legal representation by my insurance on a no win no fee. I know that DfT/Vosa are clamping down on aftermarket HID headlamp fitments on cars which will result in Mot failure. I want to fit an aftermarket HID to my bike to wake up the dozy car drivers-does anybody who is a mot tester or similar know the current legal position on this? Presumably I would have to tell the insurance company who will probably want to charge me more premium for making myself more visible.

I bought a TDM850 from a bike shop (though sold without warrenty according to receipt)less than 2 weeks ago and whilst riding home from work tonight the engine blew. Do I have a "legal leg" to stand on as the bike now clearly appears to have been faulty and I don't expect to buy a bike which will not function any longer after less than 2weeks of normal use?
