A few years ago, there was talk of the Dolomite Mountain passes being closed to all vehicles except tour buses during the spring/summer months.Does anyone know if this was implemented?I was hoping to ride down there this summer.I've Googled it but I'm still not sure.Cheers, Rich.
Hi everyone I am hoping to got to the Moto GP race at Mugello Fri 30 May - Sun 2 June. From viewing flights i have narrowed my options down to flying into Pisa / Bologna. Where though should we stay Bologna/ Florence/ Other???? The flights to Bologna run on Thursdays and Tuesdays so our planned trip is 29/5/2013 - 04/06/2013. Has anyone done this before? Where should we stay? How can we access the circuit easily from our destination? (Est costs etc) Any help would be very much appreciated!!
Hi,Having read a few posts about tours to Europe which I can't do easily due to holidays left, I was wondering if there is anyone interested in touring around UK.Anything from 2 days to up to a week, which can be agreed mutually by the riders.I am keen to travel around Wales, Scotland and York areas, but suggestions are equally welcome.Look forward to tripping...

Hi all together,I'm Andreas from Germany and I'll visit Scotland by bike in May. The tour is with the ferry from Amsterdam to Newcastle - Edinburgh - Duftown - Inverness - Isle of Skye - Oban - Edinburgh - Newcastle and back with the ferry. For my worst case scenario, the bike broken, I'm looking for addresses of Kawasaki garages, which can repair a VN900. I did search in WEB, but I didn't found so much, only in Edinburgh. Can anybody help me and send addresses of each city to my mail account? Mail address is commodus@t-online.de Thank you very much ...
Hi all,I want to take the bike on a tour to Croatia this summer, form my base in Northern Germany In order to avoid a tedious day or two on the autobahn squaring off tyres and draining my other half's finite tolerance for motorbikes I thought I'd take the motorail for a big chunk of the route. I have looked online, but it seems expensive (maybe %XA31000 each way all in) so I was wondering if anyone had tried this and what their experiences were. Thanks.Danps: Honda Blackbird ;)
Thinking of riding down to Aragon round of WSBK on 13th/14th April? Brittany Ferries are doing a special deal: %XA330* each way for bike and rider from either Portsmouth or Poole. Unfortunately you have to book by this Tuesday 26th March.I'm going, let me know if you are thinking of going and we'll cheer on the Brits.*(Or %XA360 for car and two adults, which is just as good).
