Unfairly treated by Honda?

Not sure where to put this but legal is as good as any,I'll try and keep this as short as possible,My gudgeon pin sheared on my 2012 CBR125R after 5500miles, got it picked up all under warranty but had to wait over a month for the work to be done, apparently they had to wait for a component I was told the head was on back order. I was offered no alternative to use whilst the work was done and no compensation for the amount of time I couldn't use the bike (it's my daily ride and saves me ...

Just wondering..

Picturehttp://i43.tinypic.com/9uu73c.jpgOn my zx6r when i serviced the brakes today i noticed on the rear caliper, there is a round plastic thing that sits inside the piston [outside touching the back of the pad]. But on the front pistons they're hollowed out and the pad just sits on the rim of the piston.I was just intrigued as to why that is and what the purpose of this plastic thing on the rear caliper isThanks

TomTom Rider V5

I'm planning a lot of European touring this summer, so was keen to get a decent satnav to keep me going in the correct direction. After quite a bit of research online, settled for the TomTom Rider V5 which has just been launched this spring. Thought I'd got a bargain from Amazon, only to find on receipt that the package excluded the bluetooth headset. This setback aside, very impressed by the unit. It looks like all the little gripes that people had about the previous versions have been remedied.Good ram mounting bracket and charging cradle with associated cabling for connection to ...

Unknown offender

Recently I was involved in a single vehicle accident caused by a massive spillage of oil on a bend of a country road, luckily my only injuries where a couple of bruised ribs and a sprained thumb, my bike however is currently under assessment for repair or possibly written off, unfortunately no one knows the cause of the spillage so I am unable to recover any losses from a third party i.e. damaged riding gear and insurance excesses, the police aren't interested as it was a SVA and no damage was caused to street furniture etc, the local council cannot ...

Indicator issues

I just recently replaced my panels on my bike and had to change the indicators from one panel to the other. They now are having issues. I can operate the rhs indicator but not the left. This is also greeted by a buzzing on the rhs operation and a perm on position for the Lhs. Please help a new rider! Would prefer to learn how to do it myself than get someone else to fix it!
