Cal Crutchlow: I%X92ve got to improve

Cal Crutchlow has admitted that he needs to make big improvements with his own riding to match the performances of Italian Ducati duo Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone. The British rider committed his future to Ducati last weekend and will stay on a Desmosedici machine, despite lengthy discussions with Suzuki and Honda about a 2015 move. The 28-year-old has found the switch...

Biggotted & repetitive posts

There have been a number of posts on this forum continually and repeatedly demanding that individuals shouldn't have the right to make life choices under the supposed guise of condescending 'just passing on safety information'. Personally I am bored to the back teeth with it and the people who are repreatedly rehashing this tired old theme are appearing to be sad individuals who demand that people listen to them (in the same way that a 4 year old stamps their feet and sulks in the corner) We live in a free country were people can make their own descissions. Ok ...

Suzuki Burgman 400

The last bike I bought, a hold-over model from the previous year, a 2008. It changed my mind about these kinds of "scooters". The handling was amazing, brakes were terrific and it had more power than those KZ440s I had. Very comfortable, and it would do 70mph all day, getting 65mpg while doing it. My first bike with fuel injection...I didn't miss carburetors. The new Urals have FI now, maybe I should look into getting a new one of those. The Burgman surprised me in every way, so it's not fair to call it a "scooter".

Close-up of my KZ440LTD.

The last 440 I had, a close-up of the engine and such. Battery acid had gotten all over the back of the bike and engine, exhaust, etc. It needed a lot of elbow-grease and polishing compounds to get the acid damage and oxidation off the aluminum, but it turned out pretty good. You can't even see the dent that was in the tank. I didn't fill it with Bondo, either. I made a special pick to get inside the tank so I could tap the dent out. It took me 3 months to do the tear-down, get parts, and put ...

1988 GL1500m w/Lehman conversion

My girlfriend Judi and I on one of our motorcycle camping trips. This was taken in the Cascade mountains in Washington state. She was the perfect pillion girl. No matter the weather, she never complained. She was so happy to be on the GL with me, riding all over. When I met her, she didn't have any riding gear at all. But we went around and I helped her get some women-sized gear so she'd be comfortable in different weather conditions. She spent her own money buying her kit, all I had to do was show her the good stuff.
