Triumph Daytona 675 (2006-2008)

The Triumph Daytona 675 has put Hinckley firm back on the shortlist of many UK sports motorcycle riders, who previously rated the 600 and 650 Daytona models as being OK, but no real alternative to a Japanese four cylinder 600cc sportbikes. Silky, compact handling, allied to kick-ass engine power and a howling exhaust note, make the Triumph Daytona 675 a...

Triumph Daytona 675R (2013-current)

Faster, better handling, easier to ride and with an even angrier engine note, the 2013 Daytona 675R takes Triumph%X92s supersport weapon to another level. Launched alongside the standard Daytona 675, it%X92s the first major update since the 675%X92s release in 2006. Every inch of the machine is different. A new short-stroke engine revs harder and moving the exhaust can from...

Triumph Speed Four (2002-2006)

That engine still isn%X92t perfect but it ain%X92t half bad. A bit snatchy around town but, out in the open, it%X92s a dream. Alongside that handling and those brakes, you%X92re in for one hell of a ride on board the Speed Four. Incredibly capable and beautifully built, its distinctive looks are ideal for those who don%X92t want to go with...

Triumph Daytona 675R (2011-2012)

Triumph has labeled the 675R as a track day weapon/fast road riding tool, and MCN can%X92t argue with this. The stiff Ohlins suspension and lithesome, agile nature of the 675R chassis gives the impression it is a sorted race bike. Couple this with impressive midrange from of the triple-cylinder engine and you have a bike that allows devastating corner speed...

Sprint ST double headlamp mod?

I was wondering if anyone has a wiring diagram or description covering the double headlamp mod. The standard Sprint ST 2004 onward is blind in one eye; it only has a single headlamp (dip or main). I heard this was to do with recent legislation to stop car drivers trying to drive betwen the headlights? Some drivers are very strange indeed. . . . I am assured by the dealers that the mod has to be carried out by a Triumph dealer and that it is quick and simple. So, it shouldn't be too difficult for an amateur then. They ...

Foot pegs.

Can anyone help. I am having problems with "aching legs" when i have been riding for over an hour,i have to hang my leg down to ease the ache. I have bought an after market gel-seat, but the problem still continues. Q, is there an after market bracket to enable me to lower the foot pegs. Also, the vacuum pipe to the fuel tap has now started to kink, due to the lack of space between the tap and frame, I have made a botch job with windscreen washer pipe. Q, does a mod exist. And just before i go, ...

Triumph Daytona 675 (2009-current)

You would be hard pushed to tell the difference from the successful but outgoing Triumph Daytona 675 model and the latest 2009 model. But stand closer and the differences jump out at you i.e. the new angular top fairing, Nissin monoblock calipers, revised suspension and so on. The engine and performance changes you can%X92t see, but combined with the great...

Daytona 955 - Pillion/touring comfort? Please comment.

Hi allI currently ride a ZZR600 both singly and 2 up, both blasting lanes and a bit of touring.I am now ready to step up a notch and go for a bigger bike and was considering the ZX-9R (c or e)which would suit my needs, but, I have discovered the ocular delight of the Daytona 955i (2001 onwards) and am now in a dilema.I know the ZX9 can do what I want, but, I'm having trouble finding one at the right price and it is insurance group 16.I have sourced a ...
