I increasingly find myself saying 'Is it me?'MCN Classified used to be 'the place' where bikes were sold and bought. It was also a good place to check how much your bike was worth (well 'ish anyway !)Okay sure, we now have the dreaded eBay and many other places most notably AutoTrader's Biketrader which seems to be the market leader. The Phone App is free too - great to check quickly when you are buying a similar bike.Enough waffle and back to 'Is it me ?' I can understand increased competition - every business has got it especially those susceptible to ...
Alright guys,Got a technical issue with setting up the MCN news feed on to my website, was hoping you guys might be able to point me in the right direction...The website is setup with wordpress and when using the HTML code provided by MCN to set up the news feed page, it just creates a link on my website rather than showing the news articles. Have you heard of this issue before with setting up the news feed on wordpress sites?I've also contacted the support team at wordpress and am awaiting their response. The website is:MotoGP CalendarCheers
Hi MCN admins... just letting you know that spam in the comments sections for the articles seems to be getting out of control these last few weeks, in case you haven't noticed.Cheers
Video auto-play is annoying, especially when it happens when you click on the article, then again when you click on "show all comments", and then again after you post a comment.
No having all the comments load on the main page articles is annoying. If the first 25 were loaded, that would be all of them 99% of the time.
i thought mcn was a bike mag not a word about silverstone wsb in this weeks issue disgusting
Guys...Steer clear of Bauer's 6x MCN for %XA31 and 3x Ride for %XA31 telephone offers. They only want your money and offer arrogance and disrespect in return.I got conned - don't let it happen to you!
Maybe it is just because I am old, I have often wondered where some of the bikes I have previously owed ended up. For example a 1939 250cc AJS (Nottinghamshire). If there was a dedicated section in the Forum for people thinking the same, it would be interesting. Admin please think about it. - Paul
Got phone call today from 02075365000, claiming to be MCN (I think possibly some company they've hired - the forums are full of complaints about that phone number being used for "Which" magazine sales. Great offers for magazines, I'm tempted by 3 issues of Ride for a quid. When I say yes, "Leah" asks me for my bank account details, sort code etc, at which point I'm a bit twitchy - it's probably ok, but what an idiot I'd be if some scammer just phoned out of the blue and I gave her those details! So I ask if I ...
I was just now reading through the said supplement and I happened on the piece entitled "changing an inner tube" The information given is totally wrong, after breaking the bead loose from the rim the tyre is squeezed into the well of the rim and the tyre removed from the area at the valve first. On replacing the tyre the last part to be forced over the rim is the area around the valve. The only exception is when tyre clamps are present. Weewes
