OK, so the vfr1200 needs a stem mount for the sat nav. Telerizer is %XA332 with postage, The 'buybits.com' is %XA322, the latter has been recommended to me, but why the price difference?? I did look at a RAM mount, but their website says their stem mount is not suitable for my bike??? Has anyone got either of these? Comments please.
LiFePo4 is a good choice, and that will be popular ,i think you can have a try
Fibreglass fuel tank I am thinking of buying a fiberglass cafe racer fuel tank for my bike, and have found a U.K company who makes one that is ethanol proof, so is suitable for modern petrol. However I seem to remember that having a glass fiber tank is an MOT failure as the rules say that only metal tanks will pass the MOT however many modern bikes are fitted with plastic tanks.I have done several searches online and some sites say its ok and others say its illegal. Can you help
I have changed the oil on my Moto Guzzi bellagio and when opening the air filter was shocked at the amount of emulsifying oil evident in there. I thought this might improve with new oil and oil filter but it has not. One of the forums has suggested a fiat type metal filter to fit in the pipework. I wonder if you have any thoughts on this and could offer help. thanks vinnychoff
I am looking for an Air compressor to remove water from my bike after I have cleaned it.
I have seen few 7%X94 x 5%X94 plates around ( I never understood how they got away, I believe they are illegal ), I want / need a smaller size than 9" x 7" for my new surround. I am trying to understand the sometimes obscure UK law. The requirements for motorcycle%X92 plate are: Character height 64mm Character width (except the figure 1 or letter I) 44mm Character stroke 10 mm Space ...
I've received a form from the Tirol which is in German but appears to be a speeding ticket. I think they're looking for 50 euros. Any idea how to pay this and can they give me points? I've gone on to their web site but i'm no wiser. What'll happen if I don't pay?
HI guys,Sorry its another heated grips topic. I'm wanting to buy my boyfriend some heated grips for Christmas. I'm not a biker myself so don't have a clue where to start looking. He's only on a 125 (Yamaha) but commutes daily about 40miles. He's been talking about getting some for ages so i think this would be an ideal present. My budget is up to %XA380. would really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.
With winter approaching I don't want a repeat of the freezing fingers from last year. But the question is....do I go for heated grips (properly fitted by my local Triumph dealer) or heated gloves. Both will be roughly the same price but which is better? I'm tempted by the gloves as they will keep my hands warm the whole time, but how effective are they? Advice would be useful
Hi all, i am hoping to buy a VFR800 vtec new next week finance depending and whilst i am going to use borrowed money i am thinking of spalshing out on heated grips...Now there are so many to choose from and the honda dealer i am going to buy from reccommended Honda heated grips at %XA3199.99 and said he would fit them free of charge, however a quick google search has brought up Tesco heated grips at %XA348.92, R and G at %XA330, tech 7 at %XA330 and the list goes on, so i ask firstly which are best, not ...
